“Sons of the Fallen” is about 25 boys with one thing in common -- their fathers paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
This past summer we captured moving stories from the moment the boys arrived at camp escorted by several hundred Patriot Guard motorcycle riders until they boarded the airplane to return home. Viewers will watch as these boys build self confidence while they under go camp challenges and at the same time tell their moving personal stories. Their journey included doing things their Hero Fathers would have done with them such as hiking the 14,000 foot Pikes Peak, rock climbing, riding in real race cars, and unbelievable food fight. Ranch owner Joey Truscelli will guide the story from his Colorado ranch and give these sons and the daughters of all of our fallen heroes a voice. The camp is hosted each year by the Knights of Heroes organization.
This one hour episode included celebrity guests Bill Goldberg (professional athlete/actor NBC Celebrity Apprentice 3) and Ryan Merriman (actor), along with the community who joined ranch owner Joey Truscelli (Joey T) as they went through each of the challenges with these boys and learned of their families sacrifice.
